As a general rule of thumb, a plant-based (PB) diet can be recommended as a complementary part of treatment plans for almost any health concern.
It’s been demonstrated time and again to improve various markers of physical health.
But whether a diet is suitable for any given person, comes down to that person’s specific situation.
The goal should be to improve and—if realistic—reverse your health condition over time.
We always recommend reducing or completely eliminating the most problematic plant foods such as:
- corn
- nightshades
- peanuts
- soy
- modern wheat and gluten-containing grains
Of course, any highly processed, refined and adulterated food products aren’t part of a healthy plant-based diet and should be avoided.
