Toothpaste: Which Products Do You Recommend?

Whichever product or formulation you use for brushing your teeth, we encourage making sure it’s made from benign, natural ingredients.

That means a product ingredient label which doesn’t show sodium fluoridetriclosansodium lauryl sulfateaspartamepropelyne glycoldiethanolaminepolylactic acid, etc.

These undesirable ingredients are included in most commercial toothpastes you buy at non-health-oriented grocery or convenience stores. Healthier alternatives, however, are very easy to find or make yourself.

And it doesn’t have to be the familiar paste texture you’re used to; you can also brush your teeth with coconut oil, herbal powders, clays, or baking soda.
