The term ‘plant-based diet’ has changed over time as it used to refer specifically to being vegan.
This has led to a blurring of the definition though we see little point in wasting too much time on this. You may recall for decades the ironic, “I’m vegetarian but I sometimes eat chicken and fish” person.
We’re not judging anyone who wants to identify themselves by labels, even when they misuse them. What we are saying is you must do what you feel from within, rather than getting confused with other people’s definitions.
This diet emphasizes all the goodness from fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, microgreens, sprouts, legumes and so much more.
